AcroYoga FUNdamentals

AcroYoga FUNdamentals

Join Guest Teacher, Sarah Vosen for AcroYoga FUNdamentals!

AcroYoga is a dynamic partner practice that blends the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power of acrobatics, and the loving kindness of healing arts. These three lineages form the foundation of a partner practice that cultivates trust, playfulness, and community. Jenny Sauer-Klein and Jason Nemer co-founded the practice in 2003, which has since touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of people world-wide. AcroYoga International supports AcroYoga as a practice that is available for every body, age, and ability. We support all beings through movement, connection, and play.

AcroYoga has 3 main elements:

Solar Acrobatic Practices that cultivate trust, empowerment and joy.
Lunar Healing Arts Practices that cultivate listening, loving and letting go.
Yogic Practices that cultivate breathe awareness, life balance and connection.
For this workshop, we will explore all 3 elements that AcroYoga has to offer! This includes Partner Yoga, Partner Inversions, Therapeutic Flying and Thai Massage. Come with a partner or on your own, we will put you in pairs or trios through out the workshop. No AcroYoga experience necessary. Some experience with Yoga is helpful, but not necessary. Please wear clean clothing that allows you to stretch and go up-side-down and is not see through.

Cost: $40/person if registered by 2/26. $45/person on day of workshop

Sarah Vosen is an agile and articulate mind, with a natural grasp of symbolic systems and the conceptual relationships between well-being, behavior, emotion, and the physical body. Her rigorous study of Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture have synergized with her study of western nutrition and many forms of physical exercise, including yoga, AcroYoga, gymnastics, capoeira, and pilates. She is a font of knowledge about wellness – anatomically, internally, and energetically — which she articulates with simplicity and clarity. Her work nurtures the mind, body, and soul, with equal weight. She completed Levels 1 & 2 AcroYoga.org teacher traininings in 2007 & 2014 and is honored and beyond excited to share this practice with YOU!
