As a member of the Heat Yoga community we kindly ask that you adhere to the following guidelines and policies, so that all members may enjoy an effective, safe and positive class experience.
» You need to leave early.
» You are new to class.
» You have any medical considerations including injuries, pregnancy or special medications that might require exercise.
» You prefer no hands-on physical corrections and adjustments.
» Consult your physician before beginning any yoga practice.
» Arrive early or on time for class. The teacher has the right to deny admittance to any latecomers. Classes will be closed five minutes after start time. Signing up online will guarantee your spot in class up to 10 minutes prior to that class. If there is a waiting list for any class that you are signed up for, we reserve the right to give your spot away if you are not in the studio 10 minutes prior to class.
» Use the locker room and coat check. Personal belongings in the studio present a hazard for people moving.
» Heat Yoga is not responsible for lost or left items.
» Follow the teacher’s practice. You are welcome to modify the asanas (poses) as needed and appropriate.
» Please arrive to class 10-15 minutes early—we start on time. Please remove your shoes and silence your cell phone upon entering the studio. Enter the class room quietly and be mindful of those around you that are trying to quiet their minds, meditate, or mentally preparing themselves for class. Keep lively conversations outside of the studio.
» No food or glass is permitted inside the practice studios. Have fun! It’s only yoga…
» A 5-minute grace period is allowed for late entries, given that:
- You enter very quietly.
- You do not disturb anyone or make anyone move when entering.
- Please respect the authority and discretion of the Front Desk Staff—they have the best interests of the entire group in mind.
- Tell the teacher before class begins.
- Put your mat at the back of the room, near the door.
- Exit quietly before Savasana (the part where you lie on your back).
