Kristin Cromie will walk you through what the Chakras are, why they are important and guide you through a clearing asana.

While most people agree that meditation is paramount to maintaining a healthy outlook and calm mind, nearly all find reasons to avoid it. Do any of these sound familiar? -My mind wanders -I can’t turn off the chatter -I tend to fall asleep -It’s hard to find the time -My legs/back/hips hurt -I don’t know if I’m doing it correctly Details: Meditation sessions are completely food donation-based. Please feel free to bring a non-perishable item for the local food shelf. The session will include progressive muscle relaxation, a short teacher-lead guided intention, followed by 30 minutes of silent meditation, and a short closing. The entire session will last about 45-50 minutes. The studio will be candle-lit, warm and silent. Students are encouraged to bring seating (mat, pillow, cushion or chair) and wear comfortable clothing. Each 2nd Sunday of the Month at 7PM Fee: Food Donation
