Hi, my name is Shannon. I added yoga to raising 3 kids, 2 dogs, running, biking and striving to keep fit 2 years ago. Its been a great addition to my life giving me focus and clarity but also strength and endurance. I seek to teach people in an authentic, approachable way. I would love to help guide you in classes at Heat Yoga! Shannon completed her 200 hour yoga certification through YogaWorks in June 2012.

Gentle Flow Warm
This non-heated class is held at a slower pace, suitable for beginners, those with physical limitations, and experienced students who are looking for an opportunity to slow down and find some peace. A lot of modifications for injuries and very little weight bearing on the wrists and knees is what make this class accessible for everyone. Bolsters and blocks will be utilized though out and you will be given thorough instruction on alignment and use of the props. This is a safe and relaxing class that will leave you feeling refreshed and at ease. Please inform your teacher of any injuries or physical limitations.
HY Vinyasa 1
HY VINYASA 1 is an ALL LEVELS class accessible to students of any experience. Teachers will guide you through a 60 minute vinyasa style class in less heat than our HEAT A classes. Emphasis in level 1 classes will be foundational postures. Vinyasa yoga is a rhythmic practice that energizes the body and quiets the mind by using conscious breath to flow dynamically from posture to posture through a variety of transitional movements.
Appropriate for student at ALL levels can create their own physical intensity by choosing offered modifications and variations every practice you attend
HY Vinyasa 2
HY VINYASA 2 is an intermediate level class accessible to all students. Vinyasa yoga is a rhythmic practice that energizes the body and quiets the mind by using conscious breath to flow dynamically from posture to posture through a variety of transitional movements. In our level 2 class, you will not only get some foundational work, but be offered some advanced postures as well. Practiced in our same heat level as HEAT A FLOW.
Students of all levels are welcome, teachers will offer options/modifications if needed.
Practiced in our standard heat of 105 degrees, this fun yet challenging class is a fusion of yoga and strength training. Though intense, this class is designed for all fitness levels and ages.
Sculpt will tone and shape your body by targeting major muscle groups through anaerobic movements and compound training.
You will need to bring your own set of 2-4 lbs. dumbbell weights and a mat to class. Be prepared to have fun, sweat and move your body!!
Practiced in our standard heat of 105 degrees, our candlelit flow is the perfect way to end your day.
Unwind from the challenges of life bathed in candlelight while you move and breathe to slower flow class. The end of the class has some longer holds for a more restorative ending to your day. And of course a longer Svasana is featured to allow you to completely let go.
