Maggie has been a gymnastics coach and a dance instructor for 15 years. She began to practice yoga a couple of years ago and immediately, recognized the benefits of practicing postures which are intended to build strength, increase flexibility, and improve balance. Yoga has now become an integral component in her life. In her yoga teachings, Maggie draws on her experience as an elite athlete and coach, to clearly communicate ways to navigate and explore the body through proper alignment and variations in poses, guiding students of all levels. Specializing in a more athletic type style of yoga, Maggie inspires her students to become more self-aware; mentally, physically, and spiritually. She also brings with a sense of acceptance, strength, and balance, to her students, as well as her own practice. Maggie completed her 200 hour yoga certification through YogaWorks in June 2012.
