I first began practicing Yoga when I was fifteen years old. What originally started as a way to get a little more exercise into my life soon became a passion. Yoga gave to me physically, emotionally and spiritually like nothing else ever had. The practice had a huge effect on me, changing my outlook on life entirely. I began to see each moment as an opportunity, a miracle and most importantly, as a teacher. It guided me to what are now some of my biggest interests; natural living, holistic medicine, nutrition, Pilates and an all-around mindful, active lifestyle. I made a promise to myself at this young age that I would always practice Yoga, and I would do my best to share its gift with as many others as I could. I believe that Yoga can benefit everyone in one way or another. I think it is important for students to listen to their bodies and see what kind of Yoga they need at that exact moment. My teaching style is light hearted, fun and heavily based in my interest of anatomy and the human body. I aim to show students that they are limitless on the mat, and off the mat. I completed my RYT 200 hours through Yoga Works in 2014.
